I think being fictional actually means you have a clear-cut purpose hell even in more nihilistic works. You exist to entertain, intrigue, an emotionally affect your audience while exploring an interesting philosophical concept. I guess the problem is being fictional is that your meaning is not satisfying.... Unless you this guy with his WaWa™ slushy
